The new sports hall in Lozoya de Buitrago (Madrid) has used the INCO 70.4 self-supporting curved sandwich roof system.
The roof consists of a mixed system of precast concrete beams and curved metal sheet. This solution is optimal in terms of delivery and in reducing costs in labor and waste on site.
It should also be noted that the system has a high acoustic and thermal performance thanks to its composition of elements. The roof is made, first of all, of the INCO 70.4 curved and perforated R3T6 profile to guarantee the acoustic absorption required in the project. The omega profile and thermal insulation have been fixed on this perforated profile. Finally, the upper layer that works as the resistant element, the INCO 70.4 curved self-supporting profile with a thickness of 1.2mm has been used.
